Current situation in Destne

We would like to inform you that the current situation here is perfect. We have enough snow here with solid downlayer and other dry snow falling. This night there were -8 degrees of Celsius. All stake outs and other race infrastructure is almost ready. We are all here.

Informations for bikers
As many of you know, there is a chance to participate on Sedivackuv long also with bikes. If you are interested ou have basicaly two possibilities. Either you have your own bike and than we need to receive your application via standard form on our web page and we also need to know if you come for the full race or only for several days. The start fee is 1000 CZK per biker for full race. Or you can contact Jan Kopka (winner of bike category of Iditarod) via his web page www.jankopka.cz and rent a snowbike from him. He will discuss everything with you and organise all the event for you.

Finally! Web should be up-dated

We are pretty happy to can inform you that the web should be up-dated and you can start to sign for the race. Please note that the distance of 333 km will be opened too in case at least 10 participants will sign for that. You can sign by adding 333 km into the "Message for organizers".

The day started with pretty much snow on the ridge of Orlicke hory together with high speed of wind. That causes a delayed start by one and half hour and shorter trail. First racer will start in about 10 minutes at 12:30.
